Mark A. Smith is a 1983 graduate of Clarkson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution (now known as Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management) with a concentration in Technical Writing. A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution includes a balance of course work in the major disciplines of engineering, math and sciences, management, marketing, humanities, and social sciences.He then graduated cum laude from the Pace University School of Law in 1986 after serving as a Managing Editor of the Law Review.
After being admitted to practice law in the states of Connecticut (1986) and New York 1987, Attorney Smith has spent the last 29+ years providing legal services to businesses and individuals. A significant part of his practice has been representing design professionals (including engineering & architectural firms) and other professional businesses. This work includes all of their day to day legal needs, including business formation, licensing, stockholder agreements, joint venture agreements, partnership agreements, leases, contracts, employment agreements, client contracts, collections, real estate purchases, real estate sales, real estate financing and the purchase and sale of businesses.
